Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using ImgLab ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

ImgLab provides browser-based image processing tools including format conversion, compression, resizing, filtering, and watermarking. The Free tier is provided without charge. The Pro tier requires a one-time payment and provides enhanced features.

3. Accounts

You may use the Free tier without an account. To access Pro features after purchase, you must create an account with a valid email address and password.

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must not share your account with others
• You must provide accurate information when creating your account
• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account

4. Pro License

Upon successful payment, you receive a personal, non-transferable, lifetime license to use ImgLab Pro features. This license permits:

• Use on your personal devices (up to 3 concurrent sessions)
• Processing images for personal and commercial projects
• All current Pro features and future Pro features added at no extra cost

This license does not permit:

• Sharing your account or license with other individuals
• Reselling or sublicensing your access
• Using ImgLab Pro as part of a service you sell to others (SaaS use requires a separate agreement)

5. Payments & Refunds

The Pro license is sold at a one-time price. Payments are processed securely by PayPal.

Refund policy: We offer a 14-day refund if you are not satisfied with Pro. To request a refund, contact us within 14 days of purchase via our contact page. After 14 days, no refunds are available.

In the event of a chargeback or PayPal dispute, your Pro access will be suspended pending resolution.

6. Acceptable Use

You may not use ImgLab to process, convert, or distribute:

• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any illegal content involving minors
• Content that violates copyright or intellectual property rights of others
• Material intended to harass, defame, or harm individuals
• Content that violates applicable laws in your jurisdiction

Violation of these rules will result in immediate account termination without refund.

7. Intellectual Property

ImgLab and its underlying source code are the intellectual property of ImgLab Pro. You retain all rights to the images you process — we make no claim over your content.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or produce results meeting your specific requirements.

Because processing happens in your browser, results may vary depending on your device, browser, and operating system.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ImgLab Pro shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of data, arising from your use of the Service. Our maximum liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for Pro in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your Pro access ceases but we will retain payment records as required by law.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify registered users by email of material changes at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which ImgLab Pro operates. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, then binding arbitration if necessary.
